Just the latest example of a lack of professionalism and concern for public safety in general, by the RCMP (and other police)in the use of force on unarmed individuals.
YET AGAIN, we have independant witnesses who show the police are LYING about the events leading up to a lethal use of force.
Now we get a few more details about the man killed by "officer friendlies" working at the Vancouver Airport.
The mother had saved for seven years to once again see her son. Yet he ends up getting killed by RCMP gestapo only yards from seeing her one last time.
More eyewitnesses come forward and now describe shooting as execution, rather than justifiable force.
Now the police coverup squad will kick into high gear...
RCMP goons say they were "justified" in pepper spraying several people, including a 6 month old baby after a "routine traffic stop".
They promise to investigate themselves, but offer not so much as an apology.
This is the tape the RCMP didn't want the public to see, and tried to withhold till legal action was filed.
It is released by permission of the mother of the man who was murdered by the RCMP, and it is clear from watching it why the RCMP were afraid that the public would view this video.
This video is disturbing to watch.
Yet another witness says RCMP had no reasonable grounds to taser man. She says man was never threatening towards ANY individuals at the airport - least of all police, and they made no effort to calm him or find interpreter.
Vid also contains video of victim shortly before police arrive.
Perhaps not surprizingly, we now know that the evidence for RCMP incompetance and/or negligence is even more than first glance...
This one looks like its going to the courts, so don't be surprized to see the RCMP damage control squad jump all over this now...
