This tune was recorded with the Selmer Cigar Cutter alto that you can see in the pictures. In my opinion, the Cigar Cutters are under rated. They are awesome horns.
Well, this is the first time I play and own a sopranino saxophone. Never thought, that it would be such fun to play it.
The recording was done in my practice room with a Boss Micro Br using the on board micro. The text is a little icronic. I know, it is not perfect, but it is ok.
So, I'm just kidding. :)
Well, makeing this video I tried to show the old vintage side of the blues and the new moder side, playing it with a Cannonball saxophone.
So simetimes the video is like an old fashion black and white movie and sometimes it's colored.
Hope you like my idea.
Well, this is the new version. Now the sax and the tune are correct. Which means, the sax in the pictures is my old c-mel.
It is a little funky tune I recorded with my ca. 80 years old King c melody. Love that sound.
Since I received many mail. The mouthpiece is a Steamer mouthpiece made by Hans Werner Peters a German mouthpiece maker and refacer.

This is a testfootage I took yesterday with the Canon HF100. Got this cam new, and am totaly amazed by the quality of footage it takes.

Sorry quality here looks realy bad. Please check the vimeo link
This is probably the only excisting Vito c-melody. They have been made in the 60's by Beaugnier for LeBlanc.
It is said, that 120 had been produced, but only 18-22 have been sold. I couldn'T find someelse who has one.
The tune is played with a old Martin Handcraft c-melody 1921/22 with a Steamer mouthpiece.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Just foolin' around in my practice room today.
The clip was recorded with the Sanyo Xacti HD1000 and the on board mircrophone. So the sound is not as good as on my other clips. No mastering or effect, just the pure sound. :)
I tested this filter and was very impressed how it works. You can add much more detail or let things vanish by twisting this filter.
I hope that the film will show as much details as my orignal video, since the upload looses much quality. So I hope you can see, what I saw
I wanted to see, how the camera will catch a night scene. I was suprised. I also recorded a clip in full HD and this is way better, than in the smallest setting.
I had the HD700 before and there, these kind of clips had a lot of "snow" in all kind of colours in it. With the HD1000 the black is realy black. I like that!
After a very long time, guess it must be almost 1 year, I got today my tenor out of it's case. Yeah, missed it's sound.
Hope you enjoy it a little bit. It'S recorded with the Sanyo Xacti HD1000 and the on board microphone.
Yeah, you already know him, that's "Little Chicken". One thing is for sure, he simply loves music. Everytime we switch on the radio or he hears a beat, he starts dancing and singing.
Guess he fits perfect in my family, very musical bird hahaha.
Recording with my Yanagisawa Sopranino. The pictures in this video are taken by me. Sometimes I like fooling around with photo programms.
The whole track was recorded with a Boss Micro BR and the on Board microphone. That is a pretty cool little recording device.
Here he goes again. My beloved "Little Chicken". This time he relishes his favourit foods. That is almost the only time he is quiet :).
Recorded this with the Sanyo HD1000.
