One of my favourite scenes in The Fountainhead displaying the disconnect between Ayn Rand's hard line belief in individuality and the collectivist ideal of design by committee. The ironic aspect of this speech is that film is a very collectivist (or at least collaborative) art form compared to writing.

From the 1949 film '"The Fountainhead" based on the novel of the same name by Ayn Rand. Gary Cooper plays Howard Roark as he defends his dynamiting of Cortlandt. Ayn Rand wrote the screenplay herself for the film, so novel purists need not worry.

Pakistani Adaptation for the Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. "Teesra Kinara" was recorded from cable TV (in England?)about 15 years ago. Note that it was pirated, i.e., the production company in Pakistan did not get permission to make the adaptation.
