The very first public performance of Phil The Beat (Bass), Jaymie Herod(Sax), Cliff Barnes and Jere B (Drums) as SOUNDOCTRINE. We performed as part of The Northeast Ohio Gospel Music Connection at The Holiday Inn Metroplex in Liberty, OH. At the time we called our music "Alternative Christian Funk!" The very next week, we were opening for Blues Legend, Bobby "Blue" Bland!
