This is a math project I did back in 9th Grade about Hyperbolic Geometry. It's a parody of one of my old favorite songs, Superman by Five for Fighting. I wrote the lyrics, animated the movie, and *shudder* sang the song. Feel free to laugh at my singing, I don't pretend I'm any good. I got an A on the project, though.
An animated music video for Matchbox Twenty's song "Real World" that I made. I did not get permission to use the song for my movie (because I couldn't find a way to get in touch with them), but Matchbox Twenty is my favorite band and I hope that they don't mind, and maybe even like it. Enjoy!
A project summarizing our high school run. Enjoy.
Unlisted credits: Jeff Segall for many of the photographs. John Hutzler, Jessica and Robyn for their help in the production of the movie.
My first *completed* cartoon, done in 8th Grade on a Palm Pilot (Sketchy program) with the help of GIF Construction Set and Windows Movie Maker. This was made before I got Flash. Copyright Jason Merrin (c) 2004.
Another movie I made for the school talent show. This one takes you through the way I learned how to animate, from little post-it doodles, to the Flash animations I post on here, and beyond. The music was composed by a friend of mine, Eno. All the animation was done in Flash, after filming the live action pieces.
I hope you enjoy!
A movie I made for my school talent show in 9th Grade, done in about a week (I worked intensively). Don't expect a masterpiece, but I thought it was funny... It's basically a cartoon, done in a very cartoony manner, parodying all of those "everything" films Hollywood makes. Enjoy!
The body of a Veidt Sport commercial meets the soul of a Veidt Nostalgia commercial to make this twisted Frankenstein for the Veidt commercial contest. Enjoy.
This commercial is a parody.
