Days of Our Lives montage I made in 2000 when I first started trying to edit videos. Most clips featured are from the 1995-2000 era but alot contain flashbacks that date back as early as DAYS' first episode in 1965!
This montage that I edited shows clips and moments during the 2001-2002 "season" of Days of Our Lives. Music featured includes Madonna's Ray of Light, LeAnn Rimes' I Need You, the theme song to MTV's Spyder Games, Amber's I Feel The Need to be Naked, and NSYNC/Gloria Estefan's Music of My Heart.
From Guiding Light, Roger Thorpe rapes Holly Norris in this 1979 clip. This was a soap first; the first time a married woman accused her spouse of rape.
From Sept. 1995, Billie leaves Salem for Europe so Bo can sort out his feelings for her and Hope. This was Lisa Rinna's last episode of her original '92-'95 run on DAYS.
Marlena awakens in a hospital bedroom after the devil had her walk into Bo & Billie's wedding reception naked, as well as point a gun at John and shoot a cop. This episode could've been a great Emmy reel for Deidre Hall.
In my first attempt to do a video collage of Guiding Light in 2000, I used whatever footage I had available to me, hence the showcasing of some unpopular couples like Ben & Blake and Bill & Pilar. This was my first editing attempt using unsophisticated editing software, hence the simple audio/video cuts.
This tribute took place at the 1999 Soap Opera Awards where Brynn Thayer and Robin Strasser presented the Soap Opera Digest Editor's Award to Michael Zaslow's wife and daughters.
In the midst of a snowstorm, Hope crashes her car and passes out while Stefano and Dr. Rolf activate the satellite which switches the mind control computer chip in Hope's brain to turn into Princess Gina! (Winter of 1999)
From September 1995, Hope tries to get Bo to admit his feelings while at the Horton cabin. This episode aired roughly 2 weeks before Billie left Salem. (Part 1 of 2)
From September 29th 1995, Billie's left Salem and Bo heads over to the Cheatin' Heart to drown his sorrows. Meanwhile, Hope insists to Alice that she's giving up on Bo, as he had just refused to rip up the divorce papers. (Part 1 of 3)
