Lab border collie mix female. Had hair loss on bottom. Was taken to the vet today and vet says it's from laying on a surface for way to long indicative of living in a crate 24/7. Areas on the bottom were two large hairless lumps filled with fluid. Fluid was drained and the treatment is self healing and LOTS OF SOFT BLANKETS TO LAY ON! NEEDS IMMEDIATE RESCUE!!!
Owner is a transiet who is in jail. This dog is wonderfully sweet. She was non reactive to the cats in the kitty room both caged and free roaming. She is fine with other dogs but WILL put them in their place if they try to top her. Non aggressive! Her name is "Shady" which needs to be changed!

8-20-07 UGENT NO TIME Young GSD STARVED OWNER SURRENDER FEMALE owner claims someone else was watching the dogs, yeah right. Owner surrendered both dogs, the sister was euthanized because she was "acting aggressively" well I would too if I were starved. Need IMMEDIATE REPUTABLE RESCUE! THIS IS A NICE DOG THAT DESERVES HER LIFE!
